What is Color Guard?

 The Mill Creek color guard is an award winning, competitive performance ensemble that adds visual color and artistry to the Pride Of Mill Creek Marching Band. The color guard will perform during halftime at football games, marching band competitions throughout the southeast, parades, trips and various other events. They are a movement based ensemble utilizing dance, flag, rifle, and saber choreography to provide a visual interpretation for the Pride of Mill Creek production. Membership requires self-discipline and hard work, with a strong emphasis on teamwork. The Color Guard brings a great deal of pride and enthusiasm to Mill Creek HS. Besides the excitement of performance offered through Color Guard, another appealing feature is that no prior dance or color guard related experience is required.

How Can I Join?

An audition camp will be held at Mill Creek High School in April. Please read the audition packet thoroughly and use the check off list to make sure you have completed all necessary requirements.
