Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

About FBLA

All students--not just those taking a Business Education course are encouraged to join FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).  The cost for membership is $35.00 for the year.  This includes a free t-shirt, graduation cord (for those that qualify) and the opportunity to compete in various events on the Region, State and National level.

Students in FBLA are given the opportunity to develop strong leadership qualities and civic responsibilities through participation in competitive events and projects.  Members of FBLA may apply for the many scholarships that are available.  FBLA conferences allow members to meet some of the more than 255,000 members nationally.

Spring Semester 2013 FBLA Club Meeting Dates-  1/17, 1/31, 2/14(am only),  2/28, 3/14, 3/28(am only), 4/18, 5/2 (FBLA CLUB PARTY!)


Competition Dates-
January 30th- Region Leadership Conference at South Gwinnett High School (after school)

March 15-March 16- State Leadership Conference in Downtown Atlanta


Club meetings are held in room #1.295 in the Business Ed Pod. 

Meeting times are 6:45 A.M. & 2:30 P.M.!!

ALL SENIORS DESIRING TO RECEIVE AN HONOR CORD NEED TO TURN IN THEIR WORKSHEETS BY MONDAY, APRIL 1ST.


STUDENTS WANTING TO BE AN OFFICER NEXT YEAR NEED TO PICK UP AN APPLICATION FROM MS. ECHOLS- ROOM 1.295.  APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 19TH!
