The Mill Creek High School Latin Club is dedicated to the appreciation of Rome's contributions to us. We believe the study of Latin will have relevance and meaning for our future. The study of Latin teaches students how to study. Latin is the perfect specimen language. It not only helps in the study of other languages, but also it helps us in adding to our vocabulary which will enable us to pursue a goal of being well-spoken. We want to be well versed in proper grammar and rich vocabulary. We want to appreciate what the Romans did for us in respect to music, mythology, architecture, literature, law, and other fields. Students who are in Latin or have had Latin for two years may join the Latin Club. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month in room 1.562 from 2:15-3:00pm.
