WHAT IS THE POETRY CLUB?

The purpose of the Poetry Club is to foster an appreciation of poetry through reading, writing, and performing this art form in its various published and non published modes, including sonnets, ballads, rap, odes, and free verse. All poems studied will be appropriate for Mill Creek students-- free of profane, violent and prurient content.

Ideally (and in the not-so-distant future), the Poetry Club may perform poetry for community groups (elementary and middle schools, senior citizen homes, public library).
