May 23 Update
 Welcome to MCHScompetition cheerleading!!

We have a busy few weeks ahead and I have a lot of information to share with you, so please read carefully.

I am the team mom for the varsitycompetition squad, but will also be sending most of the emails for JV as well since a lot of the information is the same.  Please don't hesitate to contact me or any of the other team moms with any questions you have.  It can be overwhelming especially if you are new to the program!!  The moms for JV are Kim Teschner and Trish Jensen.  The varsity moms are Fran Holder and
myself.

I have attached the competition calendars for the summer.  Please be aware these are only competition dates.  If you are cheering on a spirit squad also, there will be additional dates for those squads.  Please note that the attire for each day is listed on the calendar.
Practice clothing will be given out on Tuesday the 28th.

Please remember to bring water to practice everyday.  You may also bring a light snack if desired.  On some of the really long days, June 4th for example, you will need to bring a lunch or have something brought to you.  Lunch and snacks will not be provided.   Please readthe calendars carefully and plan accordingly!

We have three bonding activities planned for the summer.  These are for both JV and Varsity.

Stone Mountain Laser Show -Wednesday, May 29th
Meet at MCHS at 6:45 (please eatdinner before you come)
We will carpool to Stone Mountain - **We need parent volunteers to drive** - No girls will be allowed to drive themselves.

Parents, please contact me ASAP if you can drive!

Everyone should bring $4 to cover gate admission to the park and for waters. (We will be taking a couple of coolers with water for everyone.)

Everyone should bring money for food/snacks if they want anything while they are there.

Bring a towel/blanket to sit on.

Bring Frisbees, etc. if you want to play with them before the show begins.

It will be late when we get back.
Girls can text/call parents when we are getting close to the school.

Del Rio - June 7th
The girls and coaches will meet for dinner on the patio at 6:00pm.
Everyone should bring money for their dinner.

Attire is dressy casual and each grade level will have a theme color.
(You can use the color as an accent or main color.  It is up to you, but please don'tfeel the need to buy something new!)

Seniors: Pink
Juniors:Black
Sophomores: Blue/Teal
Freshmen:White
