Softball - 9th Recap
Grayson Tournament
The 9th grade softball team had a great tournament defeating two JV teams, Grayson and Strongrock. The winning pitcher for the Hawks in the Grayson game was Shay O'Bryan and the winning pitcher in the game versus Strongrock was Peyton Wilson. All the girls on the team played hard the entire tournament.
Mill Creek vs. Archer
The 9th grade Lady Hawks came up short versus Archer in extra innings losing 7-8. Emma Thompson, Peyton Wilson, Shay O'Bryan, Kaitlyn Cormier, Juliana Gracia, and Alexis Gill all scored for the Hawks. Gabby Kehren had a great defensive game in left field.
Mill Creek vs. North Gwinnett
The 9th grade girls defeated North Gwinnett 3-2 Tuesday. Brooke Renfroe was the winning pitcher for the Hawks. Peyton Wilson had a great defensive game and Kaitlyn Cormier had a great offensive game with a crucial RBI for the Hawks.
vs. Collins Hill JV 9/12/12
The Lady Hawks defeated Collins Hills JV team 10-6. The winning pitcher for the Lady Hawks was Brooke Renfroe. Ally Walton, Kaitlyn Cormier, Krisitin Fontana, Alexis Gill, and Gabby Kehren all had great offensive games.
Mill Creek vs. Collins Hill
The 9th grade team defeated Collins Hill Tuesday 4-1. Shay O'Bryan was the winning pitcher. It was a complete team effort. Emma THompson had a great defensive game and Juliana Gracia had a great offensive game.
Mill Creek vs. Brookwood Doubleheader
The 9th grade lady Hawks game up short in both games versus Brookwood, losing the first game 7-4 and the second 16-5. The lady Hawks played hard in both games.

Lady Hawks lost a hard fought game to Brookwood 11-5.
Mill Creek vs. Collins Hill 9th 9/17/12
The Lady Hawks defeated Collins Hill's 9th grade team Monday 7-3. The winning pitcher for the Lady Hawks was Shay O'Bryan. Alexis Gill, Ally Walton, Peyton Wilson, Brooke Weippert, and Kaitlyn Cormier all had great offensive games for the Hawks. Kaitlyn Cormeir and Emma Thompson had great defensive stops for the Hawks.
Mill Creek vs. Parkview JV
The Lady Hawks defeated Parkviews JV team in a hard fought game. The Lady Hawks came from behind on the last inning to score three runs for the 8-7 win. Brooke Renfroe was the winning pitcher for the Lady Hawks. It was a great offensive game. Emma Thompson, Gabby Kehren, Peyton Wilson, Ally Walton, Juliana Gracia, Amber Clark, and Kristin Fontana had great offensive games. Juliana Gracia, Ally Walton, Alexis Gill and Emma Thompson had key defensive stops for the Hawks.
Mill Creek vs. N. Gwinnett 9th 9/17/12
The final game of the season ended in a tie for the Lady Hawks due to weather. The Lady Hawks ties North Gwinnett 3-3 in 5 innings. The pitcher for the Lady Hawks was Brooke Renfroe. Gabby Kehren and Emma Thompson has great offensive games. Peyton Wilson and Brooke Weippert had strong defensive games.
