Congratulations Grace Hubbard and Birdie Jackson in their televised, "live" performances at the 2012 Shuler Hensley awards.
In case you missed it, over 40 high schools across the state of Georgia participated in this years Georgia High School Musical Theater Awards on 4/17.  Modeled after the Tony Awards, the Shuler awards are given in 15 categories including best direction, choreography, orchestra, set design, leading actress and actor and overall production.  The awards were presented live for the first time on WSB's Me TV and the evening's entertainment featured performances from the Shuler Student Ensemble.  The link below is the opening number from the show.  Watch to see Mill Creek Players Grace and Birdie!

Both of our Actors qualified in the 'Scene Performance' category as finalists in The Actor's Scene Performing Arts Scholarship Tournament!

The Actor’s Scene, an award winning acting studio, is a Partner in Education with Gwinnett County Schools.  Preliminary rounds took place March 8-11^th, for a prize offering a $3,000 college scholarship to the winning junior or senior with the winning freshman or sophomore receiving a scholarship for 1 year of acting classes at The Actor’s Scene.   The competition was set up similar to model a debate tournament or a one act event in that each high school brings students to compete in Humorous Performance, Dramatic Performance, Scene Performance or Musical Theater.  The focus of this tournament was to help further educate a student talented in the arts.

You will see Collages followed by lots of individual photos from the show. The photos are in show order and there are lots of them!

When placing an order online, you have the option to purchase individual photos, as well as CD’s or Custom Collages.  Although there is only one CD option when ordering online, you actually have 2 to choose from.  The details are below:

Individual CD:  $30, Contains 15 of your favorite images (excluding Group Photos and Collages)

Show CD:  $55, Contains best images from the show (over 300, excluding Group Photos and Collages)

Custom Collage: Contains 5-6 individual images (excluding Group Photos)

When placing an order for Custom Collages, choose Custom 8x10; Group photos can be 5X7 or 8X10.  If you choose the CD option, you will be contacted to determine which CD you want, the individual ($30) or the show CD ($55), as well as the photo numbers of the images you would like to include for the individual CD.  No charges will be applied to your credit card until your order is verified.  Each order is personally reviewed before processing.
